Every Almanac Bureau engagement follows the same underlying sequence: structured conversation, careful drafting, client comment, editorial refinement, and final delivery. What varies is the scope of the question being addressed and the form of the finished document.
Scoping
We agree the question, the deliverable, and the timeline in writing before any work begins.
Conversation
Structured interviews with the relevant members of the leadership group and function leads.
Drafting
We produce an initial draft in plain language and share it with the client for comment.
Delivery
A finished, editable document is delivered to the client in the agreed format.
Annual Reference Volume
A multi-week engagement that produces a written annual reference volume for a small or mid-sized organisation. The volume includes the operating model summary, the year's strategic frame, the working rhythm of the leadership group, and the key reference documents collected in one place. The team interviews each function lead, gathers existing artefacts, and produces a finished volume shaped through two rounds of comment.
Quarterly Editorial Pack
A subscription-style engagement that produces a written editorial pack for each quarterly review of the leadership group. The team gathers operating updates, drafts the underlying narrative, and produces a designed pack that supports the leadership conversation. Includes one half-day facilitation of the quarterly review and a short post-meeting summary capturing agreed actions and unresolved threads.
Operating Note Drafting
A short focused engagement to draft a single operating note on a defined question, such as how to introduce a new operating routine or how to frame a coming internal communication. The team holds two structured conversations, drafts the note, and shapes it through one round of comment. The deliverable is a finished operating note suitable for circulation among the leadership group.

Mutual NDA before any conversation. Client materials are not referenced or shared beyond the engagement team.

Deliverable, timeline, and price confirmed in writing before work begins. No surprises on scope or cost.
PDPA Compliance
All data handling is compliant with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Client data is not retained beyond the engagement period without agreement.
Two-Stage Editorial Review
Every document is reviewed twice internally before it reaches the client — once for accuracy, once for language and structure.
Named Engagement Team
The consultants working on your engagement are named at the outset. Work is not delegated to unnamed subcontractors without discussion.
Full IP Transfer
The finished document belongs entirely to the client. No licensing, no platform dependency, no ongoing fee to access your own reference materials.
